New Gillingham striker signing Will Goodwin is signed, sealed, and excited to deliver in Gareth Ainsworth’s new-look Gillingham side.

Goodwin, 24, has arrived at Priestfield after his contract at Oxford United expired at the end of last season. And, after assessing his options, he decided that a move south to Priestfield was the best choice for the next chapter of his career.

The powerful front man hit four goals in 28 League Two appearances on loan for Colchester last season, though several of those appearances were cameos from the subs bench. Now he’s looking for a fresh start and chance to feature as a first-team starter, and sees Gareth Ainsworth’s style of play as the perfect fit for his game.
