Gillingham boss Gareth Ainsworth was left frustrated by his side's mental capitulation as they folded under Walsall's late pressure to lose 3-0 at Priestfield.
The Gills fared reasonably well through the majority of the game, and appeared to be the better side heading into the last 10 minutes. But, after failing to make any of their chances count, Gillingham fell behind to a Walsall counter-attack, and one goal led to a second, then a third as Ainsworth's side fell apart in the final 17 minutes of the match.
"It felt like two different games," Ainsworth told Gills TV.
"It felt like a game from zero to 80 minutes, and then it felt like the last 17 minutes. And I can't believe we've lost the game 3-0."
