Gillingham striker Seb Palmer-Houlden has departed Priestfield for the Scottish Premiership after a deal was agreed for the forward to head north to join Motherwell for an undisclosed fee.
Palmer-Houlden joined the club back in May 2025 for an undisclosed fee from Bristol City. A willing runner who sent most of his time at Gillingham chasing lost causes in a struggling side, he was praised in pre-season by Gills boss Gareth Ainsworth after returning from the summer break looking in superb physical condition, having filled out his frame during the off-season. It led Ainsworth to suggest that the 22-year-old front man could be set to have a big season for the club.
