Gillingham ranked 15th most-expensive club to follow in League Two

The EFL Price Index was compiled by OLBG (Online Betting Guide) to rank the relative costs of supporting each of the clubs in the EFL and, based on their model, Gillingham find themselves as the 10th-cheapest club to follow in League Two this season.

The Index rated Barnet as the most expensive League Two club to follow in 2026/27, with their adult season ticket prices starting at £425. At the other end of the list, Salford City are the least expensive club to follow in League Two, and the EFL overall, with £23 match tickets, their cheapest season tickets costing just £260 and replica shirts priced at £48.

The EFL Price Index compares every club in the EFL based on the maximum price of their general admission match tickets, the cheapest price of an adult season ticket and the cost of their replica shirts. In each category, the clubs are ranked with the most expensive at the top and the cheapest at the bottom.

Each club is given a standardised index score out of 100 in each category, where higher scores denoting higher prices. Each club is then given a total Price Index Score out of 300, with the most expensive clubs having the highest scores.

The Index has the Gills as the 60th-most expensive club among all 72 EFL teams across three divisions, with match ticket prices costing up to £28, £376 season tickets and replica shirts priced at £48.

It's worth noting that the index only takes attending home games into account. Once you factor in Gillingham's awayday expenses – with the club's fans having the second-longest awayday round-trip mileage in the division – the level of expense for our fans starts to increase significantly.

But, the Priestfield faithful will be happy to see that the club has priced following the Gills at a very competitive level in relation to their League Two rivals this season.
