Liam Gordon: Gillingham FC bolsters defence with experienced centre-half signing

Gillingham’s latest summer signing sees the club turn its attention north of the border to secure the signing of former Motherwell centre-half Liam Gordon.
Gordon has signed a two-year deal with the club, and told the club’s official website that a conversation with the Gills coaching team convinced him that a move down to ME7 was the right next step for his career.
“When Gillingham came knocking, it was a move that really interested me," Gordon told the official Gillingham FC website.
“After speaking with the manager and the rest of the coaching staff, I came away with a great feeling about the place.
