Saturday's home game against Tranmere Rovers saw the opening of Gillingham FC's new Fan Zone, as the club unveiled its latest initiative to help improve the matchday experience for Gills fans.

Situated behind the Rainham End, on newly cleared and levelled land following the demolition and removal of the old gym building on the Gordon Road side of the club's car park, the Fan Zone features three shipping container outlets, with two running bars selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and another selling food. Elsewhere, a gazebo hosted an open grill area selling additional hot food items, and a programme hut was available immediately to the right as you walk in.
