At the start of the season, I wrote about this season being much more of a slow burner, as Gareth Ainsworth's new, youthful squad takes time to get to know each other and gel as a unit. Based on the performances of the last few games, it seems that process is moving along at quite a pace.
The defensive trio of Andy Smith, Omar Beckles and Logan Dobbs might not have been the first three defensive names on most fans' team sheets before the opening day of the season, but they've been thrown together through necessity, and the last 10 minutes on opening day aside, have performed superbly as a unit.
