Gillingham boss Gareth Ainsworth made sure his team kept their foot on the gas throughout the 90 minutes at Rochdale, and he wants to keep that momentum going when they return to Priestfield.
The Gills put on the pressure throughout their 4-1 away win at Rochdale and got their reward shortly after the half-hour mark when James Brophy curled in a spectacular opener for the visitors.
Then, after Omar Beckles netted Gillingham's second on 53 minutes, Ainsworth was on the touchline, demanding that his side keep that pressure on, despite already holding a commanding lead.
"We kept going, you know," Ainsworth told Gills TV.
