Gillingham goalscorer Ronan Hale backed to hit double-figures by Gareth Ainsworth: 'He knows where that goal is'

Gillingham boss Gareth Ainsworth paid tribute to striker Ronan Hale after the Northern Irishman netted his first goal of the season to help Gillingham come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw away at Chesterfield.
After a sub-par first half, Gillingham battled back in the second, with Hale getting off the mark with deflected effort that gave his side a priceless equaliser, and rewarded his tireless efforts in attack so far this season.
"Ronan's had some great chances this season, and what I will say is keepers have been brilliant against him," said Ainsworth.
"They've almost known where he's going. He had a couple on Saturday where Ronan's disappointed – he wants to get better connections on them. And tonight, that little bit of luck will kickstart him.
