James Brophy said that his Gills side have bounced back well from their 3-0 away defeat at York City, and now, after a solid display at home against Newport County last time out, they’re in position to push for a positive result on the road this weekend.

Gillingham travel north to take on Rotherham United on Matchday 10, with Gareth Ainsworth’s men looking to pick up their second away victory of the campaign after steadying the ship with their 0-0 home draw with Newport last weekend..

Looking back at that performance on Matchday 9, Brophy said that there were plenty of positives to take from the day, even if the result ultimately wasn’t the one they wanted.
