Gillingham's 3-1 away defeat at Accrington came as a huge disappointment to the fans, the management, and the players themselves, who were bitterly disappointed in their performance at full-time at the Wham Stadium on Matchday 11.

Gills midfielder Nick Freeman offered his post-match thoughts to Gills TV after the game, and was determined to put the performance down to an individual off-day in the middle of an otherwise encouraging and positive run of results.

"To be honest, it's a really tough one to take, considering the form we're in and how good we've been and reliable we've been," he said.
