Ronan Hale was happy to lead the way as he helped fire Gillingham to victory against Rotherham United on Matchday 10.
Hale scored twice as the Gills recovered from going a goal down to eventually defeat the Millers 4-1 at New York Stadium as the team produced a performance that made the rest of the division sit up and take notice.
Chatting to Gills TV, Hale said that his teammates did well to rebound from a tricky start that saw them go a goal behind on 17 minutes, as they fought back to eventually claim a clear victory.
“I thought that was a definitely a great second half from us. Obviously, the first half wasn't great,” said Hale.
