Gillingham boss Gareth Ainsworth was beaming during his pre-match interview with Gills TV, and it didn't take long to find out why.

The Gills boss, who is looking to build on a positive first 80 minutes against Walsall and the club's hard-won first point of the season at Fleetwood, was positively bouncing as he had his on-camera chat with the club's Head of Media Phill Catterick ahead of Saturday's home game with Northampton at Priestfield.

One of the topics that had him the most animated concerned the potential for more new signings coming into the club before the end of the summer transfer window, as he revealed that he hopes more new arrivals will arrive before the window closes.
