Gillingham FC have released ticket details for the club's upcoming FA Cup First Round tie at home to Barrow, including some welcome ticket pricing news.
Adult standard tickets for the match, which is scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 7 at Priestfield, will cost just £10. That's a significant price reduction from the usual pay-on-the-day match pricing for league games.
Given the non-league opposition, and the club's poor recent form, the drop in ticket prices seems like both a smart move, and a good reading of the room by the club, who likely recognised the take-up would be low for the match at full, or close-to-full, ticket prices.
Tickets are on sale now, with season ticket holders' seats reserved for them to secure before 5pm on Wednesday, October 28, after which any unsold season ticket seats will be opened up for general sale.
The club has also announced attractively-priced hospitality packages for the game, with the standard Matchday Hospitality package, including a "Pie and a Pint" two-course meal, plus a drink, at the 1893 Club for £45 for adults and £25 for under-14s.
